Accessibility and Communities Manager at Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus
Victoria Garcia MBE is a recognised leader in accessibility and inclusion across the UK transport sector. With over 20 years’ experience at Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus, she has played a key role in developing industry-leading approaches to accessible travel, disability awareness and customer support.
Victoria’s work has strengthened partnerships between operators, disabled passengers and community organisations, helping to shape services that better reflect the needs of all customers. She is widely respected for her practical expertise, collaborative approach and commitment to driving positive change.
In 2020, Victoria was awarded an MBE for services to accessibility in public transport.
Victoria was appointed as an Ambassador for Women in Bus and Coach at our Parliamentary Reception, hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Bus and Coach at Westminster on 1st December 2025. In this role, she supports our work to build a more inclusive, representative and confident workforce, championing accessibility, allyship and the value of lived experience across the bus, coach and community transport sector.
