Kerry Turner
Our Mentee Director, Kerry Turner, was the winner of our groundbreaking competition for a mentoring director role on its Board of Directors and will serve a transformative one-year term starting 1st August 2024.
Kerry is Head of Operational Delivery for First Travel Solutions (FTS), who she joined in February 2014 and was then completely new to the transport industry. Kerry’s had a varied career that started in Japan where she taught English as a foreign language after graduating. She returned to the UK where she joined the National Probation Service. After several years in this industry Kerry started a management career in retail working for both MFI and B&Q.
At FTS Kerry is an established part of the Senior Leadership Team has had a variety of roles during her 10 year tenure, from leading the Compliance Team, Internal Operations, Business Performance and most recently, Head of Operational Delivery. Highly passionate about people, Kerry leads on and is the lead on employee engagement, employee welfare and wellbeing and is a Mental Health Champion and First Aider.
