Join the Women in Bus and Coach Northern Region for our next Food and Thought online session, delivered in partnership with Designability.
This interactive lunchtime event will explore how inclusive, user-centred design can help create better workplaces and experiences for women across the bus, coach and community transport sector.
Taking place online on Thursday 11th June from 12:30–13:30, the session will bring together women from across the industry to share lived experiences, discuss challenges and help co-design practical improvements that support attraction, retention and progression within the sector.
Designability will introduce the principles of inclusive design and share practical examples from transport and beyond, before facilitating a series of rapid co-design breakout discussions focused on some of the key themes identified across the industry.
Topics are expected to include:
- Roster redesign for inclusion
- Manager capability and accountability
- Modernising uniforms and PPE
- Creating visible progression pathways
This is an opportunity to contribute directly to conversations around workplace inclusion, while connecting with others across the sector in an open and supportive environment.
