Nalisha Fernandes
Nalisha started her transport career at Network Rail after completing an MBA from Lancaster University. At Network Rail, she held roles in Strategic Planning and Finance while completing her CIMA qualification. She then moved into rail tendering with the Arriva UK Trains Bid team, where she spent eight years supporting major UK and international tenders. She joined Metroline in 2023 as Finance Lead in the Business Development Team and was a key member of the team that won 4 franchises in Tranche 3 of the Greater Manchester Bus Franchising project.
Nalisha is excited to be a mentee director contributing to Women in Bus and Coach and supporting its vital work in empowering the next generation of female leaders.
