WiBC x TfL Internships 2027
Interested in discovering the careers that keep London moving? Six paid internships are available for summer 2027 through the Women in Bus and Coach internship programme with Transport for London (TfL). The 12-week programme offers practical experience and a chance to explore opportunities across the bus, coach and community transport sector. From safety and customer experience to zero-emission buses, Victoria Coach Station and Dial-a-Ride, placements introduce interns to different teams and responsibilities. By Laura Hadzik, Chair There’s a widespread assumption that women find it easier to talk about their feelings, so they need less encouragement to open up than men. In some ways that’s true. Women are often encouraged from a young age to connect, care for others and express emotions more openly. But I think there’s an important difference between being comfortable expressing emotions and feeling safe enough to be vulnerable.
