Interested in discovering the careers that keep London moving? Six paid internships are available for summer 2027 through the Women in Bus and Coach internship programme with Transport for London (TfL).
The 12-week programme offers practical experience and a chance to explore opportunities across the bus, coach and community transport sector.
From safety and customer experience to zero-emission buses, Victoria Coach Station and Dial-a-Ride, placements introduce interns to different teams and responsibilities. Participants will develop skills, meet senior leaders and discover potential career paths.
Who can apply?
- The programme welcomes women and non-binary applicants who are:
- Studying towards a degree in any subject.
- Graduates from within the past year, with at least a 2:2.
- Studying for a master’s degree, or have completed one within the past year.
The internships are based at various London locations, with a bursary of £27,029 pro rata.
