Women in Bus and Coach is thrilled to announce the return of its awards, which will be held as part of its annual summit, sponsored by BT, in Birmingham on Tuesday 30th September. These awards aim to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of women and allies within the bus, coach, and community transport industry.
Building on the success of last year’s event, the 2025 awards ceremony introduces a new category aimed at recognising emerging talent: the Rising Star Award for Women celebrating young women making an early and impactful contribution to the industry.
“Following the incredible success of our first awards, we’re proud to return this year with even more opportunities to recognise the incredible women driving change in our sector,” said Louise Cheeseman, Chair of Women in Bus and Coach. “By introducing a new award for women, we’re not only celebrating achievement, but championing the next generation of leaders in our industry.”
